Your first 48 hours with NotchNook

NotchNook’s trial gives you 48 hours with every feature and no card required. Use that time on a normal working day: the useful test is how the Nook fits the things you already do.

Begin with a normal morning

Download the current application, move it into Applications and open it there. Move the pointer to the notch or swipe down on the trackpad to open the Nook. On a Mac without a notch, use the handle at the top of the display.

Start the music app you normally use. Open the Nook and try its media controls. Then look at the calendar view against the day’s schedule. These short checks establish whether two of your most frequent actions belong at the top of the screen.

Give the small tools a real job

Write a note you actually need, add a task you intend to finish and set a timer for a real block of work. Put a file you are currently using into the Tray. Open the Nook again later rather than testing everything only once.

This makes the trial easier to judge: you are checking whether the app saves an interruption during your day, not simply whether a feature can be demonstrated.

Use the second day to check your desk

Try an external display if you use one, and repeat your normal sleep, wake and work routine. Check the Mirror before a call and use the Tray when passing a file to another device with AirDrop.

At the end of the trial, choose between a lifetime license and a monthly subscription on the official product website. Current prices and terms are shown there. Questions about the app or a purchase go to the NotchNook support team.

  • Day one: open the panel, control one track and keep one real note.
  • Day two: repeat those actions, then try a file handoff or a meeting.
  • Before choosing a plan: test your normal external display and the tools you expect to use.
